We use only well trained white homing pigeons for all releases. The release professional will make the determination of the release conditions. Although we will always attempt to release the birds, there are times that they will not be released due to time of day, weather conditions, site conditions. A full refund will be offered if the birds are not released for any conditions that is out of control of the client.

If white rock doves were released, they most likely will fly out of the basket and land on the ground. This is NOT the desired effect that you are looking for.  Our birds fly out of the basket and circle above, getting their bearings for their flight home.  The white rock dove would surely become victims of predators or simply starve to death due to not knowing how to survive in the wild.

We have been involved with pigeons for 30 years and are currently a life member of the International Federation of American Pigeon Fanciers (IF).  We are currently racing our birds in the Buffalo Homing Pigeon Association. The birds that are not pure white are placed on my racing team and race out to 300+ miles, with good results.
